The Speaker, H.E. Kakha Kutchava held the introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Romania, H.E. Răzvan Rotundu to discuss the bilateral relations and cooperation in sector directions.
In this context, the parties stressed the importance of the dynamic inter-parliamentary links.
The Speaker introduced the plans of the Parliament and noted that today, the Parliament is strong and pluralistic providing the opposition with various leverages.
The parties underlined the Western integration and the application of Georgia to be made for the EU membership in 2024.
As the Ambassador stated, Romania strongly supports the EU and NATO aspirations of Georgia.
The Speaker affirmed his commitment to cooperation with the Ambassador.
