The Parliament approved the 2022 budgets of the Parliament of Georgia, the Central Election Commission, and the State Audit Office.
Irakli Kovzanadze, Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee introduced the issue at the plenary session. According to him, the budget of the Parliament of Georgia will not change next year and will amount to 53 mln 696 000 GEL - "The funding of the CEC in 2022 is set at 30 mln 7 000 GEL, whereas the 2022 budget of the State Audit Office - in the amount of 17 mln 589 000 GEL”.
The issue was discussed by the Budget and Finance Committee before the session.
The Parliament deliberates and approves with relevant resolution the next year's budgets of the Parliament of Georgia, the Central Election Commission and the State Audit Office, which will then be submitted to the Government of Georgia for consideration.
