MP Tamar Taliashvili held the meeting with the representatives of the Children’s and Youth Education Center “Our Borjomi”.
The Head of the Center, Ketevan Nozadze introduced the objectives of the organization, its mission and the tasks.
According to her, the Center hosts 4500 children and allows the development of informal education skills. The children acquire practical and theoretical knowledge and participate in the Youth Assembly in the Center.
T. Taliashvili dwelt on the role of informal education noting that informal education is important for the youth and the equal attention shall be attached to the respective competencies of the training of the children: knowledge, skills, values and independence, which implies a long-term process.
The engagement of the youth in the regions is of particular importance. She offered the tour to the Museum of Georgian Parliamentarism in view of awareness of the children.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Center, Tea Guntaishvili and Tinatin Javakhadze.
