In the second reading, the Committee deliberated the amendments to the Organic Law on the State Language, which will put the law in accordance with Georgia's new Constitution. The gap in the Organic Law on the State Language, which is related to the numbering of the articles, will be rectified if the draft law is adopted.

The Committee also considered the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia's proposed law on Vocational Education today.

The draft law was conceived in accordance with the Vocational Education Reform Strategy (2013-2020), which served as the foundation for the implementation of vocational education reforms.

If the draft law is passed, the executive authorities of the Autonomous Republics of Abkhazia and Adjara will be able to form a public or private legal organization for the purpose of carrying out vocational education operations in accordance with the Ministry.

"We will be able to provide more effective, adaptable, and needs-oriented vocational education for the locals”, - Jemal Gamakharia, Chairman of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia's Supreme Council, stated.

Both bills considered during the sitting were unanimously approved by the Committee.
